  • Brief description

    The course “International Trade and Business” is designed to provide students with practical knowledge and skills in managerial, analytical and research activities in the field of international trade and business. The program focuses on international marketing, foreign trade and logistics activities of commercial companies.

    A unique combination of thematic modules allows students to form a system of "hard" professional skills that allow them to: make organizational and managerial decisions and assess their consequences; manage enterprises, divisions, groups (teams) of employees, projects and networks; develop corporate, competitive and functional strategies; possess methods of economic analysis of the behavior of economic agents and markets in the global business environment; possess methods of strategic analysis; prepare analytical materials for managing business processes and evaluating their effectiveness.

    The training course will be held in the format of scientific-practical discourse as close as possible to the realities of today’s international competition. Lectures, seminars and business games are to cover the most important and challenging issues of international trade and business in different regions. And thematic excursions and academic sessions will colour up the routine and make this study efficient and unforgettable.

  • Cultural program

    We offer our students excursions to the most famous palaces, monuments, museums of St. Petersburg, as well as other cultural activities.

  • Entrance requirements
    • • Good command of English. All classes and extracurricular activities are carried out in English. Knowledge of the Russian language is not required.
    • • Applicants are expected to have at least 2 year of University level studies.
  • Course description

    The course content includes:

    • 1. International Trade and Business Design of Commercial Activities - 1 ECTS credit.
    • 2. Strategic Thinking of Business - 1 ECTS credit.
    • 3. Global Marketing Management - 1 ECTS credit.
    • 4. E-Commerce - 1 ECTS credit.
