If you teach English to speakers of other languages and want to develop your personal and professional skills, improve your communication abilities and become an expert in your field, this program is your next step. The program takes focus on the basic theoretical and practice aspects of language learning, which will help you to develop your professional English teaching skills. You’ll explore the latest theories in topics such as second language acquisition and social discourse and examine different methods of teaching English. You’ll be supported throughout by our research-active and industry-experienced academics. Our students have a unique opportunity to develop the skills needed to teach English around the world, to speakers of other languages during the school lectures, case studies and workshops.

Hybrid format: 270 Euro + 4000 Rub (non-refundable registration fee for the Letter of Invitation)
Participation fee includes tuition fee, study materials, field trips and cultural program.
Upon successful completion of the course students will receive hard copies of certificates with ECTS credits (mailed by post in case of the online format of the Winter School).

The main objective of this course is to investigate the spread of English as an international language.
